| dc.description.abstract | The research attempts to reflect on the ecological awareness that Kalidasa has portrayed through his play Abhijnana Sakuntalam (Sakuntala). The purpose is to correlate the play with the present-day socio-ecological crisis. With the ideas of modern Eco criticism, Vandana Shiva"s take on ecofeminism the research shall closely analyze the dichotomies between nature/city and man/woman. As per the methodology, the research shall be conducted through the qualitative method. Lastly, the research elucidates to various aspect of Sanskrit literature. | |
