KidCare: A Web Application for Babysitter and Daycare Hiring

Abstract

As the world is evolving day by day, the lifestyle of the people is also being changed with it. Nowadays, women in Bangladesh are not only limited to household chores but also contribute to various essential economic aspects. As Bangladesh is emerging from a least developed country status to a developing country status, more and more female workers involve themselves in the workforce. Taking good care of the children in such circumstances is impossible as both parents are busy making their living. When a child grows up in an environment where he does not get any company, their mental growth will be hindered. He can be introverted and afraid of crowds. That is why I believe the daycare system is essential in this modern era to care for a child and give them a better environment to grow up with other children.

However, in Bangladesh, there is no reliable source where people can find nannies, babysitters, or daycare to assist working parents. This dilemma motivated me to develop "KidCare." A website for all the needs of a working parent. Parents can log on to the system and find their perfect helper at an affordable price. Some parents might wonder if the worker is reliable or not. The answer is yes, as the workers must provide their essential details and a photo of their NID card while signing into the system. While away at work, parents can monitor what their baby is doing, which will be updated by the babysitter.
