Abstract
This research study focuses on the traditional rules and the norm-related factors of the primary level education system of Bangladesh that are specialized in Bengali and English medium which are causing the endangerment of the indigenous (native) languages throughout the academic process. In Bangladesh, the native students of primary level are being neglected due to less attention to their language and classroom-related issues. Despite the language policies that are passed and included in the constitution of Bangladesh and implemented across the nation, the languages of the indigenous tribes still face extinction due to the inefficient measures that were taken by the NCTB and the government. Thus, the primary level education system for the native students is still poor. The author (researcher) of this research study has focused on the issues that the NCTB has overlooked. The study also provides a holistic approach against the traditional norm and the NCTB curriculum despite some measures that were taken by the authorities of the NCTB due to insufficiency. Throughout the research study, the author also addresses the issues that the indigenous children go through while fulfilling the requirements of NCTB standards, addresses the importance of effective classroom content for the primary level native students, acknowledges the language-related issues of the ethnical (indigenous) tribes, and shed sufficient light on the translanguaging pedagogy and its execution.
