The paper investigates how different national or international non-profit organizations such as: BRAC, JAAGO, Teach For Bangladesh, Save the Children, Plan International and so on play a significant role in complementing the English language policies and curriculum in diverse under-resourced school communities. Also, it attempts to understand how the services provided by these NGOs in the underserved communities to ensure quality education are acting differently from traditional schools. The objective of this study is to explore what the diverse needs of students from marginalized communities are, how the non-profit organizations are emphasizing English language teaching for these students based on their needs while attempting to integrate English language policies and curriculum in diverse contexts, how feasible it is to put the policies into practice in these marginalized classroom contexts. Moreover, this study helps to understand the challenges faced both by the learners and the teachers while trying to ensure the implementation of these policies in the classroom practice. Also, how the NGOs are dealing with challenges. Additionally, it has attempted to look at some potential ways for making the policy more inclusive of students from various socioeconomic backgrounds based on the experiences of the participants.
