Abstract
In recent times Internet of Things (IOT) is widely frequently utilized in several research fields for monitoring, collecting, and analyzing data from the perspective of helping people. In Bangladesh, water pollution has become one of the most serious threats for children in recent years and in most areas, the drinking water is mostly contaminated and polluted. Humans, especially children can be affected by various water-borne diseases due to drinking polluted water. If drinking water contamination is recognized early enough, appropriate steps can be implemented and possibly dangerous situations can be minimized. The quality of water should be checked in real-time to ensure a constant supply of pure drinking water. Innovative and smart systems to monitor drinking water contamination are becoming interesting and fascinating these days with the help of advanced sensors, the Internet of Things, clouding, and machine learning technologies. With advancements in communication technologies, smart water quality monitoring solutions are becoming more popular. This project provides a comprehensive summary of recent research on the subject of smart drinking water quality monitoring for school children. This project proposes a low-cost water quality monitoring system leading to new technologies such as Machine Learning, the Internet of Things, and Cloud Computing that can replace traditional quality monitoring methods.
